Brownhills West Primary School

Brownhills West Primary School is a small school with a big heart. This one-form entry primary school of 190 pupils serves the community of Brownhills, Walsall. The school has a vision for all within the community: ‘For everyone to DREAM BIG and for children to leave our school with the ambition to be somebody.’

At Brownhills West, our mission is to nurture, inspire and educate our children in a happy, safe and supportive learning environment where emotional well-being, rounded education and striving for excellence are at the centre of everything we do. Working in partnership with our families and local community, we aim to raise aspirations and for every child to be the best they can be. We equip our children with confidence, a curiosity for learning and skills that will enable them to make positive contributions to the ever-changing world.

We offer a rich and broad learning experience both within our curriculum and beyond, which is designed to excite, engage and develop every child. We are extremely proud of the attainment and progress our children make whilst with us, and we know that every child who passes through our school is well prepared for the next phase of their educational journey.

At Brownhills West, all children and adults understand that our school values lie at the heart of all we do at our school. We understand that values are principles that guide our thinking and behaviour and help us grow to be a good person. Every individual is valued for who they are and what they contribute to the school. Our values intend to support the personal and social development of every member of our school community.

Recognising potential in all, we support children to grow their talents, gain self-confidence and most importantly to DREAM BIG.
