Central Co-operative Learning Trust

Governance

Central Co-operative Learning Trust is Multi Academy Trust underpinned by the Co-operative Values and Principles. The articles provide a model to ensure that stakeholder engagement is an important aspect of all that we do. Our Trust has Members and Trustees similar to all other Trusts. In addition, we have a Strategic Advisory Group which is a committee consisting of Local Governing Board Members, Community stakeholders and Pupils.

In addition as a Trust we are committed to retaining Local Governing Boards in all of our schools. These boards are made up of local people and have representation from parents and carers as well as staff and community partners. Each board undertakes an annual skills audit to ensure that we have a mix of talent to support the school in achieving the aims that they have for their pupils and families.

Our full articles and scheme of delegation are available on our website. The scheme of delegation is reviewed annually.
