Central Co-operative Learning Trust

Greenfield

Greenfield Primary School is currently a one and a half form entry Primary School situated in Shelfield, Walsall. We are moving to one from entry from September 2024.

The school has a 26 place school nursery and around 260 children aged from 4 to 11 year
olds. Our school building is large and spacious and although it was built in 1933 it has been modernised to meet the needs of the children. It has playgrounds on both sides of the school, two large sports fields, a large adventure playground with a wooded area, a library and a children's kitchen. We teach Forest School from Nursery to year 2 and enjoy the benefits of our large grounds.

We were judged “Good” in our last OFSTED inspection in January 2023.
We aspire to achieve the very best for our children to set them on a positive path for their
lifelong learning journey. Whilst achievement of the children is very important to us, we
ensure that the children have opportunities to learn across our broad curriculum and have
memorable experiences beyond that. We work hard with the children to ensure that we
share values and principles that make for a positive learning environment and which will
support the children as they move through life. We have achieved the Gold Attachment and
Trauma Informed Schools Award and are proud to say that we have supported children
from challenging circumstances to achieve amazing progress.
We have links with partners in the community and work with other local schools as well as
the Trust to ensure we can provide the best offer for our children.
We have an amazing hard-working staff team and we are all very proud of our children’s
progress and achievements at Greenfield.
