We are looking to appoint a highly organised, efficient and friendly Senior Finance Manager to join our growing Trust, supporting the Chief Finance Officer in the management of the Trust’s financial resources.
The successful candidate will support the CFO in the delivery of the effective financial management function across the 9 primary schools within the Trust.
The role will involve working closely with the Trust schools, overseeing budget setting, budget monitoring, financial accounts and providing financial advice and support.
The successful candidates will:
- Have several years’ experience working in financial management
- Have excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills
- Be able to work effectively in a team
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- Be flexible, motivated and enjoy a challenge
- Remain calm under pressure
- Be a highly effective communicator
Knowledge of academy finances would be an advantage.
The post will be based in Burton on Trent with regular visits to all schools.
Salary & Benefits
Salary from £42,403 to £46,464 per year depending on experience
